What ever happened to the "consolidation" promises??? Every sport is played in the town that the SCHOOL is located?? I have spent 4 years with my 1st born, transporting him to and from Toluca 5th - 8th. Wenona, quite crying, it's your turn in high school!!! My children, in high school, WILL play there sports in MINONK!!!!

Why does Vincent still live in El Paso if he is doing so much for all these other towns? I think he just made a total fool of himself. If there were doubts before, let them be no more!!!

I can tell you who is running the town, "Simmons". You need to get him out of there too! Talk about small town politics, Wenona is the worst!

I dont really care about this subject it is obviously better for the baseball team to be moving to wenona with all the money being spent it is getting to the point were i think wenona and minonk should just have a civil war this is a load of rubish and pointless GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy for mayor of Wenona!!! Maybe we should talk to El Paso and find out how they got rid of the 'Randy'! There maybe a light. Flanagan and Cornell just may consolidate...maybe he could go live off of them until he and his 'trailing' spouse retire. And Wenona why don't you try to get another Juvenile Prison. You got to wonder who's running that town!!!

Hurry up and fix it so the district dont look silly. With the first six games rained out in Wenona last year and after looking at Minonk's field after the last big rain, I think we know who's drains better. But do not worry, Randy will see that it is right b/f they start. If he would have put this much time into Minonk's field, we would not be in this position.

How does one that does not live in the area join Wenona Rotary club? Vincent does not even live in the school district let alone in the Wenona area?????????????

Jason Buchanan wrote on 2/11/2008 at 05:42:07

My question is if they upgrade it with a Grass Infield like it is suppose to have to host Regionals. Then where will the Junior High Baseball Team Play ball in the fall??? Those games will have to move because from what I know you can't move the pitchers mounds around in a Grass Infield... I could be wrong... I bet no one thought of that.

OK-so how do we get rid of the self-serving Vincent, his wife, and the entire town of Wenona? I am a Minonk citizen and I would like to hear from Dana, Rutland, and Toluca citizens. Surely you can not be endorsing Vincent and the school board on this. Vincent is in bed with the mayor of Wenona and we're picking up the fees for this party.

What is he planning? My guess in a few years the entire school district will be in Wenona. No wonder Elpaso din't want him.

Here I thought the Wenona Ball Diamond was flawless. Perfect in every way, ready to go. Say it isn't so..

Maybe Randy "Get ready for what next" Vincent and his lappie stooge board member backers can figure out how to get the Wenona citizens to pay their fair share of taxes to the school district so the rest of the district taxpayers will not have to carry them any longer. It will be sure nice to have Randy driving up to Wenona every week for lunch will his fellow Rotarians. How much will this cost the taxpayers? Maybe they could have their meetings changed to late afternoons in the spring and Randy could take a load of ball players up with him and take in the game. Nothing like a little bonding with the boys.

It almost appears Randal has a plan. I bet it won't help the Minonk tax payers!
