The Woodford County Health Department is proud to announce a newly formed Woodford County Breast Cancer Support Group. The group will meet monthly starting in March 2006, on the third Monday of the month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Woodford County Health Department building on 109 South Major St. in Eureka. This support group is possible due to a grant awarded from the Peoria Memorial Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The Breast Cancer Support Group is open to breast cancer survivors and their families and will offer educational and emotional support for group members. The group will also host a local health professional presentation every other month, offering up-to-date information on a variety of breast cancer issues.
