Helen G. Quiram, 91 - January 31, 2005

Helen G. Quiram, 91, formerly of 225 S. Walnut St., Minonk, died at 2:22 p.m. Monday (Jan. 31, 2005) at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Flanagan.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk. The Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Benson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to any charity of the donor's choice.

Helen was born Oct. 7, 1913, at Roanoke, a daughter of Seth and Gretja Wragge Reiner. She married Stanley C. Quiram in June 1939 at Benson. He died March 1, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Joanne) Quiram, Phoenix, Md., and Jim Quiram, Bloomington; two daughters, Sharon Renner, Phoenix, Ariz., and Deborah (Jim) Weiland, Rutland; one brother, Willard Reiner, Roanoke; two sisters, Velda Hawk, Davenport, Iowa; and Joyce Vissering, Minonk; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Grams, and three sisters.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk, and had been employed as a cook at the Minonk-Dana-Rutland Grade School and later Lida Nursing Home.
