Ida Francis Fischer, 88, of 526 Jefferson St., Minonk,
died at 8:15 a.m. Friday (Sept. 23, 2005) at St. Mary's Hospital in
Streator.

Ida was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Litchfield, Ky., a daughter of
Lee and Leva McCormick Claude. She married Ernest Fischer in Minonk. He
died in 1975.

Survivors include one son, Gary Fischer of Carlock; two sisters, Ruby
Carls of Flanagan and Grace (Dale) Haning of Peoria; and one brother,
Kenneth (Shirley) McCormick of Washington.

She was preceded in death by
her parents and seven brothers, Robert McCormick, Ray McCormick, Hewlee
McCormick, Bill McCormick, Gene McCormick, Fremer McCormick, and Harold
Eugene McCormick.

Ida was a homemaker for many years. She was a member
of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Minonk, where her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, is in charge of arrangements.
