John C. Carver, 53, of Minonk died at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 10, 2005) at his residence.

He was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Bloomington, a son of Grover and Maxine Taylor Carver. He married Deborah Burroughs on Dec. 29, 1999, in Eureka. She survives.

Other survivors include his first wife, Sharon Angel, Arkansas; three sons, Mick (Sandy) Carver, Heyworth; Scott (Heidi) Carver, Wapella; and Richard (Shawna) Carver, Minonk; one daughter, Neina (Tracy) Fowler, Bloomington; three sisters, Mildred Kemerling, Milan; April Klockenga, Bloomington; and Sylvia Price, Missouri; one brother, Grover Carver, Bloomington; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. A private memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Peoria.

John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
