WEBER, DOROTHY ANN – age 70 of Knoxville TN passed away Monday March 23, 2009 at St Mary’s Residential Hospice in Knoxville. Dorothy had a seven year battle with cancer and she waged it with an incredible strength and an indomitable spirit. She was an inspiration to those around her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rose Drummet of Dana Illinois and by her daughter Leslie Weber of Knoxville. She is survived by her husband Glen and her son Greg, both of Knoxville. Also surviving are brother Kenneth Drummet of Park City UT, brother John Drummet of Dana Illinois, and sister Barbara Drummet of Pontiac Illinois.

Dorothy and Glen were married for 49 years, and both were members of the MDR high school class of 1956. A celebration of her life will be held at Cokesbury UMC in Knoxville on April 4, 2009. Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a service to follow at 5:00 pm.

Dorothy had asked that in lieu of flowers any memorial gifts be made to the Wesley House Community Center, 923 Dameron Ave, Knoxville 37921.
