The service for Ermyle will be private. Arrangements are under the care of East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Order of the Eastern Star or to an organization of the donor's choice.

Ermyle was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Minonk, to Henry and Dena Feken Harms. She married George Walters on Dec. 22, 1951. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jane Braman and Diane Nyberg; and two grandchildren, Eric Nyberg and Jackie Nyberg.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk, for many years, as well as an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. Ermyle worked as a bookkeeper at the Woodford Elevator and as a teller and cashier at Minonk State Bank for many years. She enjoyed farming, gardening, cooking and traveling with her husband George and daughter Jane.
