Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Curtis was born November 26, 1988 at Streator a son of Donald R. Turner and Jennifer J. Klendworth.

Survivors include his father, Donald R. Turner, Minonk; his mother, Jennifer (and David) Lindsay, Minonk; three sisters, Amber Turner, Nicol Lindsay and Kimberly Turner all of Minonk; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Lois Klendworth, Minonk; paternal grandparents, Don and Evelyn Turner, Dana; step grandparents, Dave and Marianne Lindsay, Minonk; maternal great grandparents, Velma "Granny" Klendworth and Margaret Woltzen, Long Point; several aunts uncles, great aunts and great uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Leroy Woltzen and Roy Klendworth; paternal grandparents, Mabel and Ollie Cirks, and Burtis and Myrtle Turner.

Curtis was a senior at Fieldcrest High School and was employed by Durre Brothers Manufacturing, Minonk. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially the outdoors.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Wildlife Federation or the Children’s Hospital at OSF St. Francis Medical center, Peoria.
