Obituary

Michael E. Lindley Sr., 59, of Chillicothe, formerly of Minonk, passed away Monday (May 15, 2017) at his home.

Michael was born Dec. 19, 1957, in Pontiac, the son of Kenneth and Sharon Deyo Lindley.

He is survived by three children, Michael (Kathy) Lindley Jr. and Angie (Matt) Weaver, both of Pontiac, and Jessica (Matt) Ward, Bloomington; nine grandchildren; his parents, Kenneth and Sharon Lindley, Minonk; and brothers and sisters, Zoe Small, Wadsworth, Ohio; Jeffery (Cheryl) Lindley, Phelan, Calif.; Kevin (Linda) Lindley, Minonk; Renee (John) Harris, Mattoon; Denise (Mike) Robinson, Akron, Ohio; and Neal (Shannon) Lindley, Vallejo, Calif.

Also surviving are very special friends, Kenny and Cheryl Jefford of Chillicothe, and his dog, Jake.

Michael served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Chillicothe American Legion Post 9. He had worked for JT Fennel in Chillicothe.

Michael loved spending time with his dog and watching football. He was an avid Packers fan.

His celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Chillicothe American Legion. Cremation rites will be accorded. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to PAWS.
