DANA — Jill A. Snyder, 52, of Dana, died at 4 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 18, 2015) in Rutland.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the memorial home. The Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh will officiate. Burial will follow at Dana Cemetery, Dana. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Jill was born Oct. 26, 1962, in Streator, to Arnold and Shirley Leonard Overocker. She married Michael Snyder on May 22, 1982, in Streator. They were later divorced.

Surviving are her children, Kayla (Aaron) McClanahan and Chelsey (Jason Faw) Snyder, both of Toluca, and Tanner Snyder, Dana; her siblings, Becky (Joe) Centeno, Dana; Denise (Bob) Lepper, Streator; Vicki Overocker, Dana; Arnold (Jill) Overocker, Rutland; Penny (John) Fuller and Brian (Jessica) Overocker, both of Dana; and two grandchildren, Sophie and Ian McClanahan.

Her parents and one sister, Lisa Overocker, preceded her in death.

Jill was employed at SMF in Minonk. She loved to spend time with family and especially her grandchildren.
