 TOLUCA — Steven "Suds" O. Sidebottom, 64, of Toluca, formerly of Walnut, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 17, 2017) at home.
Steve was born June 12, 1952, in Princeton, the son of Creed and Irene Wolfe Sidebottom. He married Judy E. Schulte on Nov. 25, 1972, in Ohio. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2015.
Steve worked as a seed corn salesman and owned Sidebottom Trucking. He also owned and operated Sud's Bar and Grill in Toluca for many years. Steve was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Toluca.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer (Brad) Fandel, Toluca; Christine (Sean) Cunningham, Minonk; and Karen (Derek) McCully, Morton; one son, Steven (Keli) Sidebottom, Minonk; 11 grandchildren, Merceades Fandel, Peyton Fandel, Sierra Fandel, Brayden Cunningham, Kyra Cunningham, Lucas Sidebottom, Parker Sidebottom, Mila Sidebottom, Isabelle McCully, Maya McCully and Dylan McCully; one sister, Patricia Madson, Campbellville, Ky.; mother-in-law, Marie Schulte, Walnut; four sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Don) Wallace, Kathy Schulte, Joyce (Dean) Geldean and Carla (Tim) Gonnigam; three brothers-in-law, Virgil (Judy) Schulte, Marc (Carol) Schulte and Jim (Cindy) Schulte; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut. His funeral will follow at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ryan H. Anderson, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Toluca, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Eastern Marshall Co. Ambulance Service, St. John's Lutheran Church, Central Illinois Kidney Fund and Meals on Wheels.
