Alan D. Reeves, 48, of Minonk, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday (June 8, 2006).

He was born on Nov. 14, 1957, in Peoria, to James C. and Sybil Heppard Reeves. He married Joyce Crew on Sept. 1, 1981.

Surviving are: two sons, Clifford (Roxanne) Reeves of Washburn, and Anthony Lynch of Magnolia; one daughter, Virginia (Eric) Clevenger of Minonk, his father, James C. Reeves of Roanoke; three brothers, Paul (Emily) Reeves of Wilburn, James (Jan) Reeves, and Kevin (Terri) Reeves, all of Roanoke; four sisters, Wilma (Chuck) Reeise, Leah (Scott) Ireland, both of Washburn, Dianna (Mike) Nakken of Bartonville, and Bobi Folkers of Roanoke; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Kenneth.

Alan was a material handler, working for RR Donnelly’s in Pontiac.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke. The Rev. Dick Piscatelli will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. before the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Roanoke Township Cemetery.
