Jack B. Pierce, 83, of Peotone, died Sunday at (Feb. 14) at RML Specialty Hospital, Hinsdale.  Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm Wed. Feb 17th at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home, Peotone, where services will be held at 11 am on Thursday. 

Surviving are his wife, the former Geraldine Rabe, of Peotone, two daughters and three sons-in-law, Jean & Greg Oliver, Ginger & Steve Saliba of Peotone, Tom Helfrich of Wilmington; grandchildren, Samantha, Forrest, Hayley & Kacie Helfrich of Wilmington,  Matthew and Jackie Oliver of Peotone, Eddie, John, and Andrew Saliba of Peotone.; great-grandson, Bradley Oliver of Peotone,  and one sister and brother-in-law, Prudence and Jack Holt.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jill Helfrich (2007) and a brother, Richard Pierce (1943) while serving in World War II.
