Fresno, CA - After a courageous battle with cancer, our loving husband, dad, grampa, son, and brother, Larry Mitchell Palmore passed away peacefully on February 8, 2008.

Larry was born on October 16, 1948 to William and Marjorie Palmore in Streator, Illinois. He was raised in Minonk, Ill and graduated with an Agricultural Engineering degree from the University of Illinois. He married Jo Ann Barnett on August 13, 1971. They were blessed with three daughters, Jennifer, Suzanne, and Diane, and moved to Fresno, CA in 1985.

Larry worked in agriculture for 35 years. He was an active member of the Holy Spirit Parish, the Bulldog Foundation, and several agricultural committees. He enjoyed golfing, attending Fresno State games, wine tasting, and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Palmore; his three daughters, Jennifer Hossain and her husband Rubaiyat, Suzanne Brandl and her husband Jeremy, and Diane Palmore; his four precious grandchildren, Hailey and Tyus Hossain, and Cole and Anabelle Brandl; his mother Marjorie Palmore; his brothers Thomas and Roger Palmore and his sisters Judith Kirkton and Patricia Timmerman and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, William Mitchell Palmore.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 355 E. Champlain Dr, on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
