Rutland- Hazel Marie Orr, 90 of Denver, CO formerly of Rutland died at 6:46 P.M. November 3, 2006 at Alterra Clare Bridge of Highlands Ranch, Highlands Ranch,CO.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m.on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Rutland Cemetery. Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk is handling arrangements.

Marie was born March 17, 1916 at Wayne County, IL a daughter of Oakley Everett and Elsie Vest Lawrence. She married Jim Vawter in 1987 in Colorado. He survives.

Other survivors include a sister, Lois (Emmett) Heck, Normal; a brother George (Lois) Lawrence, Palmetto,Florida; and a step son Donald Vawter, Colorad; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews..

She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Ioerger, and a niece Cheryl Ioerger.

She taught in the Denver Public School system for many years.
