Karen Ann Mooradian, 66 - May 06, 2007

RUTLAND -- Karen Ann Mooradian, 66, of Rutland died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday (May 6, 2007) at her residence.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, with Father Luke Poczworoski and Father Neri Greskoviak officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. An additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the memorial home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the OSF Franciscan Hospice of Central Illinois, 301 W. Washington St., Pontiac, IL 61764 or to 75th Ranger Regiment Association Children's Fund.

Karen was born on December 22, 1940, in Bloomington, the daughter of James J. and MaryAnn Konwinski Stokowski. She married Jerry R. Mooradian on May 28, 1983 in Dana. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Debra (William) Baumgartner of Colorado Springs, Co.; Janet (Donald) Hocking of Columbus, Ga.; and Linda Gibson of Greenville, S.C.; five stepchildren, Carey Mooradian, Chad Mooradian, Brandon Mooradian, Amber Niebugar and Nicole Mize, all of Kansas; three sisters, Norie (Tommie) Alaimo of Pittsview, Ala.; Mary Lou (Kaywin) Paris of Dana; and Kathy (Richard) Rossman of Rutland; and one brother, David (Sherri) Stokowski of Minonk.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David.

Karen was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk.
