Nathan W. Mitchell, 20, of 203 Short St., Minonk, died at 6:55 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 21, 2007) at his residence.

He was born Dec. 29, 1986, in Peoria, a son of James D. and Evelyn M. Heinold Mitchell.

Surviving are his father, James Mitchell, Minonk; his mother, Evelyn (Gary) Davis, Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, Adrianne Mitchell, Minonk; and Ashley Mitchell, Amy Heinold and Amber Heinold, all of Tucson, Ariz.; maternal grandparents, Marshall and Janice Heinold, Ixtlan, Mexico; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Bonnie Mitchell, Stoutsville, Mo.; maternal great-grandmother, Eunice Martin, Eureka; and step-grandparents, Clarence and Doris Davis, East Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents and maternal great-grandfather.

Nathan was employed as a painter for Luelling Construction in Washington.

He also enjoyed working with cars and had a fond appreciation for cars with character.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday prior to his service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Washington. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
