Louise Margaret Johnson, 92, Asta Care Center, Pontiac, and formerly of Minonk, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday (March 28, 2009) at Asta Care.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk. The Rev. Pam Gansch-Boythe will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow at Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Church, Passages Hospice Program of Asta Care Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Louise was born Dec. 21, 1916, in Amity Township, Livingston County, daughter of George and Elsie (Bane) Marshall. She married B. Eldon Johnson on Dec. 15, 1945, at Minonk. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2003.

Surviving are one son, Richard (Cheryl) Johnson, Ozark, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy (Mike) LoPiccalo, Pontiac, and LuAnn (John) Vissering, Henry; seven grandchildren, Kenneth LoPiccalo, Angela (Robb) Turner, Brenda (Ricky) Matuszewski, John Vissering Jr., Jennifer (Trent) Williamson, Kory (Andy) Waschick and Sara (Dan) Grate; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gertrude (Ernest) Hansen, McNabb. Her parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk.
