 Doris J. "Jeane" Hock, 92, of Minonk, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 14, 2016) at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. The Franciscan friars and Father Lloyd Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Minonk. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church building fund or the Apostolic Christian Home, Roanoke. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is in charge of arrangements.
Jeane was born Aug. 7, 1924, in rural Minonk, to John H. and Marie Uphoff Krull. She married Richard Hock on Dec. 22, 1944, in San Diego, Calif. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1983.
Surviving are her children, Janet (Mike) Barth and Joan (Bruce) Tallyn, both of Benson; Jeralyn (Lenny) Rinehart and Richard (Sue) Hock Jr., both of Minonk; Jo Ellen (Daryl) Flanigan, Eureka; Joyce (Mike) Bennett, Griggsville; and Rodney (Mary Kay) Hock, Monticello; and two sisters, Eileen (Don) Sutter, Indianapolis, Ind., and Audrey (Bill) Rivard, Gulfport, Fla.
Jeane had 37 grandchildren, including their spouses; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents; a twin brother, Dale John Krull; two sisters, Blanche Ruestman, and an infant sister, Mildred Ann Krull, preceded her in death.
