Betty L. Hillenburg, 75 - December 01, 2006

 RUTLAND -- Betty L. Hillenburg, 75, of 501 S. Pleasant, Rutland, died at 9:24 a.m. Friday (Dec. 1, 2006) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.

Her funeral was Tuesday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Toluca, with the Rev. Tom Goodell officiating. Burial followed in Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family.

She was born on March 20, 1931, in Marceline, Mo., the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Levell Lambert. She married Hubert Cordray on Dec. 24, 1949, in Missouri. He died in Jan. 7, 1979. She later married George L. Hillenburg on Nov. 29, 1980, in Brookfield, Mo. He survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Pam (Gary) Martin, Hudson; two sons, Jim (Sue) Cordray, Bullhead, Ariz., and John (Linda) Cordray, Varna; four stepchildren, Art (Diane) Hillenburg, Washington; Scott (Melissa) Hillenburg, Minonk; Paula (Jim) Burke, Springfield; and Lisa (Mike) Cunningham, El Paso; a brother, Roy Cordray, Brookfield, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Jackie; a daughter, Nancy Knack; a brother; and a sister.

Betty was of the Methodist faith.
