North Fort Myers, FL - Dewey Havener, 60, of N. Fort Myers, FL formerly of Minonk and Huntley, IL, passed away peacefully at home on December 8th after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death by his parents William O. and Lois Havener. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary (nee Polis) a young daughter Katie of N. Fort Myers, and son Kirk, daughter-in-law Lisa and grandson Gavin of Genoa, IL. He leaves behind his loving siblings Marcia Harris (Bob), Tim Havener (Connie), Teresa Shattuck (Don), Tom Havener (Rita) and Joel Havener (Mary Jane), numerous nephews and a great niece.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 13 from 5-8 at National Cremation and Burial Society, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway, N. Fort Myers, FL 33903. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 the following morning.
