Todd Alan Hartzler, 48, of Minonk, passed away at 3:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 7, 2009) at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk. The Rev. Gary Hartzler will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday evening at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery.

He was born on Aug. 28, 1961, in Streator, a son of Robert and Mary Timmerman Hartzler. He married Cindy Hartzler on Nov. 7, 1992, in Minonk. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Mary Hartzler, Minonk; two children, Trent and Haley Hartzler, at home; three stepchildren, Jaclyn (Travis) Nix; Jamie (Justin) Gale; and Justin Arndt, all of Minonk; one brother, Gary (Connie) Hartzler, Highland Village, Texas; one sister, Lisa (Jay) Junker, Minonk; five grandchildren, Garrett, Skyler and Calli Nix; and Joselyn and Jaylen Gale; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his grandparents.
Todd worked for and was a partner with Hartzler Construction in Minonk.
He was a member of Tall Oaks Country Club and Fieldcrest High School Touchdown Club. He was an avid Cardinals and Packers fan and enjoyed supporting the Fieldcrest High School Athletics program.
He loved spending time with his family, friends, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
