Rutland - Lynette K. Griffin, 33, of Rutland, IL passed away at 5:06 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at her residence.

She was born on August 30, 1976 in Bloomington, IL a daughter of John and Linda Griffin Riley.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Griffin of Rutland, IL; step-father Robert Roney of Rutland; two sons, Jacob and Riley Griffin of Rutland; grandmothers Fay Lingle of Minonk and Maynel Riley of Flanagan; grandfather Irv Riley of South Holland; five sisters, Kelly (Kevin) Chalkey of Streator; Shannon Johnson of Toluca; Missy (Ryan) Ramon of Streator; Amanda (John) Whited of Minonk; Rebecca Caldwell of Wenona; one brother, Kevin Griffin of Rutland; two step-sisters, Mary Ann Bennett of Peoria; Tonya (Michael) Curley of Eureka; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Lynette loved her children and nieces and nephews dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather, and step-brother, Robert Roney, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 26, 2010 at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Minonk. Rev. Kevin Summers will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in Rutland Cemetery.
