Frances Grace Grieser, 93, Minonk, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 21, 2010) at Good Samaritan Home, Flanagan.

Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, with the Rev. Luke Poczworowski, OFM Conv., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Improvement Fund at Good Samaritan Home or the Minonk Ambulance fund. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 2, 1917, at McCook, Neb., to Henry and Ellen Moore Lepper, one of nine children. She married Bernard F. Grieser on Feb. 3, 1937, at St. Patrick's Church in McCook, Neb. They farmed most of their married life southeast of Minonk. He died Dec. 5, 1997. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Minonk and the Altar and Rosary Society for more than 70 years.
