Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the home of Louise Green, 422 Johnson St., Minonk. A visitation will be held one hour prior at 1 p.m. also at the house. Burial will follow in Minonk Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Minonk or the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Flanagan. East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Louise was born June 29, 1920, daughter of Louis and Rosa Schmidt Reese in Woodford County. They preceded her in death. She married Harry Green on Feb. 14, 1942, in Minonk. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Gary (Kate) Green, Kenosha, Wis.; Gerry (Bernie) Green, Bloomington; and Jeff (Cher) Green, Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Minonk. Louise held a special place in her heart for her family who she loved most of all.

Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
