Mildred was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Minonk, where she was a very active member, being a part of the St. Paul’s Ladies, taught Sunday school for many years and worked with the quilting ladies.
She was a very strong Christian woman and family was a large part of her life. She was an avid sewer, loved to read, cook and bake apple pies, she loved to travel with her husband and later took many bus trips. Mildred always enjoyed the “card parties” with her high school friends.
Mildred and her husband farmed in the Flanagan area for many years. After retirement they moved to Minonk.
