Margerine E. "Marge" Decker, 88, Minonk, died at 3:50 a.m. Monday (July 10, 2006) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.

Herfuneral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church,Minonk, with the Rev. Craig Swenson officiating.n;Burial will follow inMinonk Township Cemetery, Minonk.n;Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk and for one hour prior tothe service Thursday at the church.n;In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk. She wasborn May 26, 1918, in Flanagan, the daughter of Tjark and Emma KoopmanRients.n;She married Delmar W. Decker on Feb. 18, 1939, inFlanagan.n;He died Aug. 10, 1997.

Surviving is a son, Richard L.(Shirley) Decker, Minonk; a daughter, Janice (Jack) Rogers, Lexington;a brother, Lester (Maureen) Rients, Streator; two sisters, Velma Bates,Grand Ridge, and Florence Bates, Streator; and a sister-in-law, MagRients, Somonauk; seven grandchildren, Kathy (Paul) Betteridge,Washington; Vickie (Tony) Halitsky, Tempe, Ariz.; Brian (Deanna)Decker, Dana; Eric (Merre) Rogers, El Paso; Cory (Sheila) Rogers,Streator; Joette (Brad) Cole, Hudson; and Jay (Kim) Sullivan, Minonk;and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a grandson.

Marge was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Minonk.n;

She owned and operated the Elegant Bridal Shop in Minonk for 40 years.
