Judith Kay Davis, 50, Minonk, peacefully passed into the open arms of God at 3:37 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 11, 2012) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk. Her funeral will follow at 3 p.m. The Rev. Ed Sinclair will officiate. Burial will follow at Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Judith was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Pontiac, daughter of Lloyd and Rachel Tesch Baker. She married Samuel Davis in March 1982 at Eureka. They later were divorced.
Surviving are her mother, Rachel Thorpe, Minonk; her daughter, Candi Sue (Kiel) Middleton, Minonk; four grandchildren, Tamaria Kayleen Davis, Sierra Marie Davis, Telayna Samantha Davis and Geordan Renay Pilger; three brothers, Kenneth (Karen) Baker, Minonk; Allen (Paula) Baker, Rutland; and Terry Baker, Wenona; one sister, Barbara (Roger) Petri, Minonk; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Baker; her grandparents; four aunts; and four uncles.
Judith had graduated from Flanagan High School with high honors and she was a certified nurse's aide. She was a caregiver to her grandchildren and her family.
Judith enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, decorating and spending time with her family.
She was a friend to everyone.
