Harold Dean Cremer, 65 - July 08, 2010

Harold Dean Cremer, age 65, of Duluth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010. Harold was a resident of Duluth for thirty-one years. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Sugarloaf United Methodist Church in Duluth at 3 PM. Reverend Stuart Greene, Reverend Larry Parker, and Reverend Kerry Lauria will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 10, from 5PM to 7PM at Bill Head Funeral Home in Duluth.

Harold proudly served on the US Coast Guard Cutter Androscoggin during the Vietnam War. Professionally, for many years he worked to improve quality assurance and process development with Chromatics/Barco View, Quadram, National Semiconductor, Scientific Atlanta and Cisco. Harold was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cremer, son Brian Cremer, daughter Melanie Cremer, stepdaughter Jennie (Joe) Andrews, stepson Robert (Rebecca) Sutton, brother Howard (Donna) Cremer, sister-in-law Elizabeth (Jim) Prucnal, brother-in-law Robert (Lisa) Rutherford, nieces Dori (Brent) Wambach, Amy Prucnal, Kelly Prucnal, and nephews Eric (Jeanne) Cremer, Bobby Rutherford, and John Rutherford. He is preceded in death by his parents Harm and Marie Cremer of Minonk, Illinois and his parents-in-law Howard and Mary Rutherford of Tuskegee, Alabama.
