John G. "J.J." Colavito?DeLancey, 26, Pratt, Kan., formerly of 905 Locust St., Minonk, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 20, 2006, at Pratt, Kan.

His family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family.

"J.J." was born July 23, 1980, at Toms River, N.J., a son of John G. Colavito Sr. and Geraldine Hamilton.

Survivors include his mother and father, Geraldine "Geri" and Michael DeLancey, Minonk; his biological father, John G. Colavito Sr., Fla.; fiancee, Jessica Bailey, Pratt, Kan.; two daughters, Ashlynn Colavito, Pratt, Kan., and Katrina Metalski, Wenona; one son, Ryan Bailey, Pratt, Kan.; maternal grandfather, Robert Hamilton Sr., LaSalle; two sisters, Michelle (Howard) Hoge, Dana, and Jamie Lynn (Russell) Hahn, Minonk; one brother, Joseph Colavito, Minonk; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a 1999 graduate of Fieldcrest High School. He served with the U.S. Marines and was employed by Trilobrite Oil Co. in Hays, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmothers and paternal grandparents.

He was a loving son, father, brother and friend and he will be missed by all.
