June A. Campbell, 90, a resident of Heritage Manor, Minonk, for the last nine years and formerly of LaSalle, died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday (July 20, 2010) at St. Mary’s Hospital, Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded with inurnment at a later date in LaSalle. Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born Nov. 21, 1919, in Minonk, the daughter of Edwin and Bridget McDermott McHatton.

She married Harry Campbell. He preceded her in death along with her parents; one brother, Val McHatton; and one sister, Inez DeFries.

Surviving is one niece Mae Copp, Minonk.

She resided in Minonk until she graduated from St. Patrick’s parochial school and then lived in Oglesby and was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School.

She worked at Westclox until the plant closed. She was an excellent bowler and golfer.
