PITTSVIEW, Ala. —Elnora "Norie" Alaimo, 65 of Pittsview, Ala., passed away Thursday, June 25, at her residence.

Funeral services will be Thursday 10 a.m. EST at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Barry officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel, Phenix City, Ala. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Alaimo was born Nov. 24, 1943, in Minonk, daughter of late James Stokowski and Mary Ann Konwinski Stokowski. She worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Company and spent many years as a homemaker. Mrs. Alaimo was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pittsview.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Morandon; and a great-grandson, Steven Fredricks.

She is survived by her husband, Tommie Alaimo of Pittsview; a daughter, Kyla Harris and husband James of Marseilles; a son, Tommie Alaimo Jr. and wife Jeannie of Center Moriches, N.Y.; two sisters. Mary Lou Paris and husband Kaywin of Dana and Kathy Rossman and husband Richard of Rutland; one brother, David Stokowski and wife Sheri of Minonk; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
