Obituary: Pearl L. Aeschliman, 92 - October 15, 2018
Pearl L. Aeschliman, 92, of rural Benson, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 15, 2018) at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.

She was born May 5, 1926, in Wenona, to Albin and Ilene Fredrickson Nelson. She married Everett Aeschliman on Feb. 20, 1946, at Bethany Lutheran Church, Wenona. He passed away on June 19, 2018.

Surviving are her children, Barb Isaia, Roanoke; Wayne Aeschliman, Lakeland, Fla.; Roy Aeschliman, Goodfield; Eric (Julie) Aeschliman, Minonk; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Raymond Nelson; and one son-in-law, Robert Isaia.

A homemaker, Pearl helped her husband Everett on the family farm for over 70 years.

Pearl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Roanoke where she had taught Sunday school for over 40 years. She was a member of the Crazy 8's Card Club in Roanoke and was also a past member of the Roanoke-Benson Music Boosters.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home, Roanoke. Frank Sauder will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roanoke Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
