Ruth A. Kiefer, 71 Ruth A. Kiefer, 71, of 636 Maple Ave., Minonk, died at 8 a.m. Friday (Dec. 19, 2003) at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac. A private family service will be on Monday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. Clark Stoller will officiate. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery, Gridley. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ruth was born April 3, 1932, at Graymont, a daughter of Henry and Rose Hinrichs Wright. She married Donald Kiefer on Feb. 4, 1951, in rural Gridley. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Bill (Joyce) Kiefer and Jim Kiefer, both of Minonk; one daughter, Kathy (John) Anderson, Secor; one brother, Harold (Rosie) Wright, Gridley; one sister, Joan (Dean) Mulligan, Tuscola; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. She had worked for Spires Elevator, rural Minonk, and later retired as the Minonk city clerk. Memorials may be directed to the Minonk Emergency Squad or the Eureka Apostolic Christian Nursing Home.
