Patricia "Pat" A. Cherveny, 65 Patricia "Pat" A. Cherveny, 65, of 225 S. Walnut, Minonk, died at 6 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 2003) at BroMenn Healthcare Center, Normal. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, Monsignor John J. Prendergast officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. She was born Nov. 27, 1937, a daughter to John and Bernice Cleary McKay. She is survived by two sons, Dean Cherveny, Dwight; and John "Mike" (Debbie) Cherveny, Kangley; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother John R. (Kay) McKay, Minonk. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Mark Cherveny. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. She resided in Minonk most of her life, having lived in Streator and moving back to Minonk in 1985. She had worked at Thatcher's Glass in Streator for many years. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, Streator. Pallbearers will be nephew Tom McKay; grandsons Christopher Cherveny, Clinton Cherveny, Eric Cherveny and Jake Cherveny; and grandson-in-law Daniel Martin.
