City to meet with raceway developers for status report

Several announcements were made at an abbreviated city council meeting
Monday night, December 19. The EDC and the Finance Committee will
have a joint meeting on Tuesday January 10, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. to meet
with the developers of the proposed Minonk Raceway to get a status
report of their proposed development.
A special
City Council meeting will be held on December 28, 2005 at 8:45 a.m. to interview EMS Chief applicants.
Mayor
Pro Tem Buchanan said that the City’s appreciation dinner would be held at
LaVon’s Fine Food & Spirits on Friday January 20, 2006. City Administrator Trent Smith will send out
the invitations.
