In an abbreviated session Monday night the Minonk City Council approved rules to the "Public Comment" section on the agenda that are required, renewed City Insurance with IMLRA, canceled the 2nd Council meeting in December (December 17th) and approved budgeted purchase for some new playground equipment for the West Side Park to be installed in the spring.
Administrative Manager Bill Moline said leaf pick up will continue as weather permits. He said the old sewer plant is basically shut down and everything is being treated through the new system and performing well. All that needs to be done is flush out the old system and clean up once weather is a little warmer.
