The Minonk City Council approved the nomination of Julie Redenius to serve as alderwoman for Ward 2 at its first Monday night meeting of the month.  She replaces the seat vacated by John Hill who resigned last December and has moved from the city.

Julie has run a daycare business in Minonk for over 20 years and is the daughter of the late Ron Redenius who served as alderman in Ward 2 several years ago.

The only other business was to present to the council a first reading of an amendment to an ordinance concerning sewer taps and connections and also sewer use and waste water discharge.
