As a homeowner I think it would only be right to be able to choose your provider and there are definately better ones. El Paso does not have contracts. They have several companies to choose from. News Subject: City replaces curb side recyling with central recycling bin - 05/11/2008 - Well, it still seems to me that one should have the right to choose their garbage pick up.  Do we have the right to refuse who the city has chosen and not pay that fee?  If so, then we should all get together and do that and get another company in there. I am not sure what the rules or laws of Minonk say as to if that would even be possible. But something has got to change. News Subject: City starts legal proceeding against violator of zoning law - 06/09/2008 - I thought that the whole big plan when the new park was built that there was suppose to be a community building and pool to go with it. What did ever happen to those plans? I agree, if gas just keeps going up and up, what is there for the kids to do all summer that will keep them out of trouble and close to home?? News Subject: City Approves New Garbage Collection Contract - 06/23/2008 - I believe there is a small shed betweent he 2 baseball fields that they sell concessions out of, however it is quite small. The one thing though I am wondering, is will this new planned building have restrooms that ARE AVAILABLE during games?  Seems the ones out there are never opened. So is this something the rec league can manage??
