Street fair-late 1890's

This is a picture of a street fair held in Minonk near the end of the 19th Century. The scene is looking east from the 400 block of Chestnut Street. The exhibit in the background with the horse statue on top of the display was for William Janssen who ran a harness shop on main street. This same horse statue can be seen in the photograph of William Janssen's harness shop. The elderly woman in the middle of the picture is Ann Kelly who lived to be 100 years old.
