Dinner Rolls and Angel Biscuits

Quick Dinner Rolls


2 cup self-rising flour
8 Tbsp mayonnaise
4 Tbsp sugar
1 cup sweet milk

Mix all ingredients. Bake at 450 degrees in buttered muffin pan till golden.

Angel Biscuits


5 cup self-rising flour
1 pkge dry yeast, dissolved in 5 Tbsp warm water
3 Tbsp sugar
2 cup buttermilk, room temperature
1 cup shortening
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp baking soda

Combine flour & sugar. Cut in shortening to resemble coarse bread crumbs.

Add soda & yeast to buttermilk. Beat until smooth.

Refrigerate or use right away. Roll out like Parkerhouse rolls. Brush butter in fold & on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees or till golden brown.

Serve hot with fresh butter.....
