Gary and Karen Cinnamon visited the US Air Force Memorial,
just dedicated earlier in October in Washington, DC. Gary said
it is very striking in appearance, purportedly designed to evoke
images of the USAF Thunderbird Exhibition Team doing the
air burst maneuver.

The Cinnamons did not get to view it at night, but it should
be quite striking as it is well lit as are all the memorials.
