Fiilger Library Summer Reading Program Highlights

Highlights of Summer Reading Week One were designing our own cars for the Drive-In Movie and practicing plays to perform during Week Two.

We also got to see stars and planets up close through a telescope, taught by astronomy teacher Brian Bill.



Summer Reading Week Two Highlights




Highlights of summer reading week 2 were are the Big Bad Wolf Story Hour, led by Marylu Pille.



The visit by a beautiful therapy dog, Stirling, who enjoyed being read to by the students was followed by performances by the 3rd to 5th graders and young adults.





Also, the 3rd to 5th graders enjoy doing science experiments and mad libs.



Summer Reading Highlights Week Three

This last week coming up will feature a Bike Rodeo Monday at 10, a Library Parade of Stars Wednesday at 10, Inflatables Thursday at 10, and the Summer Reading Magic Show Friday at 10 at City Hall.



Highlights of week 3 for summer reading included a popcorn presentation by Jason Haas, and sampling all kinds of local popcorn.



Circus Pre-K to K spent an exciting Story Hour at their own circus, walking a " Tightrope" through " flaming" hoops.





Everyone enjoyed the pets at the Pet Show, both real and stuffed animals




An Unbirthday Party excited those in grades 1-2.
